4 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (SR) was converted from 3 Searchlight Regiment in February 1942. It was initially formed as 4 Anti-Aircraft Regiment but soon re-designated as Light Anti-Aircraft. The Regiment went to France in August 1944 as part of 101 Anti-Aircraft Brigade. 4 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (SR) was placed in suspended animation in January 1947.
