3 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA

3 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was formed at the RA Depot in Woolwich in September 1941 with one battery and sent to Gibraltar. On arrival a further two batteries joined the Regiment. The Regiment returned to the UK in August 1943, joining Anti-Aircraft Command. 3 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was re-designated in April 1947 as 62 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA.
