36 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA)

36 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed at Chertsey, Surrey in August 1939. The Regiment moved to India in November 1942 and served there and in Burma (Myanmar) until the end of the war.  It was placed in suspended animation at Chobham Camp, Surrey in January 1946. 36 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was re-constituted as 536 (Surrey) (Mixed) Light Anti-Aircraft/Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
