129 (1st Surrey Rifles) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was converted in March 1942 from 35 Searchlight Regiment. The Regiment Served entirely in the UK in various Anti-Aircraft Brigades. 129 (1st Surrey Rifles) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was placed in suspended animation in January 1947, personnel forming a new, war formed Regiment with the same number. In the April it was re-designated 115 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA. The TA unit was re-constituted as 570 (1st Surrey Rifles) Light Anti-Aircraft/Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
