28 Field Regiment RA

Formed as 45 Brigade Royal Field Artillery in August 1913. It was re-designated as 37 Brigade RFA in May 1920 and as 28 Brigade RFA in November 1922. The Brigade became 28 Field Brigade RA in June 1924. The Regiment was re-designated 28 Field Regiment RA from 28 Field Brigade in May 1938. It was organised on a two battery basis in October 1939 and as three batteries in May 1942. It became a Jungle Field Regiment in July 1943 and reverted to a Field Regiment in July 1944. Post war, 28 Field Regiment RA was re-designated 14 Field Regiment RA in April 1947.
