30 Field Regiment RA

30 Field Brigade RA (Army) was formed in April 1936 by conversion of 2 Light Brigade RA. 11, 12 & 17 Light Batteries were converted to 111, 112 & 117  Field Batteries. 30 Field Regiment RA (Army) was re-designated from 30 Field Brigade RA (Army) in October 1938 on a two battery basis. By September 1939 the (Army) title had been dropped. It re-organised into 3 batteries in December 1940. Post war, 30 Field Regiment RA became 38 Training Regiment RA in April 1947.
