The Thames Army Forts consisted of 4 x 3.7 inch Heavy Anti-Aircraft Gun Towers, 1 x Bofors 40mm Light Anti-Aircraft Gun Tower, 1 x Searchlight Tower & 1 x Control Tower. They were in operation from mid 1943.
