98 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed in December 1941 at Albrighton, from 306 Battery ex 45 LAA Regiment and two newly formed batteries. The Regiment converted to 627 Infantry Regiment RA in January 1945 and was disbanded in November 1945.
