94 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was formed in November 1941 by conversion of 8th Battalion The King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, with three batteries. The Regiment joined Guards Support Group in January 1942. It moved to Normandy in June 1944 with the Guards Armoured Division. 94 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was disbanded in January 1946 in NW Europe.
