89 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA

89 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was formed in November 1941 by conversion of 11th Battalion The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), with three batteries . The Regiment joined 49 Infantry Division in December 1942 and remained with them until the end of the war. They went to Normandy in June 1944. 89 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was disbanded in November 1945 .
