79 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed in July 1941 at Meriden, with three batteries. The Regiment moved to Iraq where it remained until disbandment. 79 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in July 1944 in the Middle East.
