76 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed in February 1941 at Barrow in Furness, with three batteries. It served with 4 Anti-Aircraft Division before going overseas. The Regiment moved to Ceylon (Sri Lanka) in May 1942 and served there for the rest of the war. 76 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in January 1945 in India.
