62 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed in October 1940 in Perranporth, with two batteries . The Regiment spent its entire service in the UK, with Anti-Aircraft Command and later 21 Army Group. Although it trained for the Normandy invasion, it was disbanded to provide extra Troops for the Regiments taking part in the invasion. 62 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded April 1944.
