44 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed at Wareham in November 1939, from existing batteries. It served in the UK until July 1942 when it moved to India. The Regiment served in Burma (Myanmar) from October 1944. 44 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded at Middleton Manor, Westmaston, Sussex in January 1946.
