39 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA)

39 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed at Lincoln in August 1939. The Regiment went to North Africa in November 1942 and to Italy in October 1943. It was placed in suspended animation in March 1945. 39 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was re-constituted as 539 (Lincoln) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
