25 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was formed at Liverpool, in June 1939. The Regiment moved to North Africa in March 1941. It returned to the UK a year later to prepare for D Day, moving to France in December 1944. It was placed in suspended animation in February 1946. 25 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) re-constituted as 525 Light Anti-Aircraft/Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
