131 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was converted in March 1942 from 81 Searchlight Regiment. The Regiment spent its entire service in the UK. It was a part of Anti-Aircraft Command for the whole period serving mainly in the South East of England apart from a brief spell in Scotland in mid 1942. 131 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was stood down in May 1945 and started to slowly wind down, eventually disbanding in February 1946 at West Derby, Liverpool.
