109 (Royal Sussex Regiment) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was converted in January 1942 from 7th Battalion The Royal Sussex Regiment. The Regiment served in the UK until going to North West Europe in June 1944. It fought through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany ending at Hamburg. 109 (Royal Sussex Regiment) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was placed in suspended animation in February 1946.
