106 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was converted in March 1941 from 106 (The Lancashire Yeomanry) RHA. The Regiment served in North Africa, Greece and Crete. 106 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) was placed in suspended animation in July 1941 and re-constituted as 306 (Lancashire Hussars) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA(TA) in January 1947.
