105 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was converted in December 1941 from 8th Battalion The Dorsetshire Regiment. The Regiment moved to Tunisia in November 1942. It moved on to Italy in September 1943 supporting the US 5 Army as far as Rome. 105 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA was disbanded in June 1944.
