60 (North Midland) Field Regiment RA (TA)

60 (North Midland) Field Regiment RA (TA) was re-designated from 60 Field Brigade in November 1938 on a two battery basis. In January 1942 a third battery was raised. In October 1943, 60 (North Midland) Field Regiment RA (TA) became 60 Regiment RA (North Midland), training as infantry and providing Columns 60 and 88 to 23 Brigade (Chindits). They went into suspended animation in October 1944 and were disbanded in January 1947.
