158 Field Regiment RA was formed in January 1941 with two batteries. A third battery was formed in 1941. It re-organised as 158 Jungle Field Regiment in September 1943 and reverted to a Field role in July 1944. 158 Field Regiment RA was disbanded in February 1946.
