154 (Leicestershire Yeomanry) Field Regiment RA (TA) was formed in April 1940 with two batteries as a duplicate of 153 (Leicestershire Yeomanry) Field Regiment. A third battery was formed in January 1941. They served in the UK until June 1942 when they moved to the Middle East. It fought through North Africa and Italy with the 10 Indian Infantry Division. The Regiment ended the war as occupying troops in Austria with 78 Infantry Division. Post war 154 (Leicestershire Yeomanry) Field Regiment RA (TA) went into suspended animation in November 1945 and was disbanded in January 1947.
