Raised as 45 Brigade in 1900, it was re-designated as 15 Brigade Royal Field Artillery in August 1913. It became 15 Field Brigade Royal Artillery in June 1924. The Regiment was re-designated as 15 Field Regiment RA from 15 Field Brigade in May 1938. It was re-organised in November 1940 on a two battery basis and became three batteries in November 1942. It served in India, the Middle East and Italy. Post war 15 Field Regiment RA converted to 15 Anti-Tank Regiment RA in January 1946.
