148 (Bedfordshire Yeomanry) Field Regiment RA (TA) was formed in 1939 at Luton with two batteries as a duplicate of 105 (Bedfordshire Yeomanry) Field Regiment. A third battery was raised in June 1941 at Rochdale. The Regiment went into suspended animation after capture at Singapore in February 1942. 148 (Bedfordshire Yeomanry) Field Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in January 1947.
