131 (Lowland-City of Glasgow) Field Regiment RA (TA) was formed as a duplicate of 80 Field (Lowland-City of Glasgow) Regiment in March 1939 with two batteries . In February 1941 a third battery was formed at Martlesham, Suffolk. Post war 131 (Lowland-City of Glasgow) Field Regiment RA (TA) went into suspended animation in January 1946 and was disbanded in January 1947.
