122 (West Riding) Field Regiment RA (TA) was formed in May 1939 at Halifax with two batteries as a duplicate of 70 Field Regiment. When 46 Division joined the BEF in France it was as a labour Division. Their support units including 122 Field remained in the UK. 122 (West Riding) Field Regiment RA (TA) was considered to be in suspended animation in February 1942 after capture in Singapore and was disbanded in January 1947.
