109 (Westmorland & Cumberland) Field Regiment RA (TA)

109 (Westmorland & Cumberland) Field Regiment RA (TA) was formed in 1939 with two batteries as a duplicate of 51 Field Regiment. In May 1941 a third battery was formed. Post war 109 (Westmorland & Cumberland) Field Regiment RA (TA) went into suspended animation in January 1946 and was re-constituted as 309 (Westmorland & Cumberland) Field Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
