561 Coast Regiment RA - The Royal Artillery 1939-45

561 Coast Regiment RA was formed as 23 Coast Artillery Group RA at Blackpool with one battery, in October 1940. It was re-designated 561 Coast Regiment RA in June 1941. RHQ was disbanded in May 1943 and the batteries joined 562 Coast Regiment RA.
