551 Coast Regiment RA

551 Coast Regiment RA was formed as 13 Coast Artillery Group RA at Dungeness with four batteries, in October 1940. It was re-designated 551 Coast Regiment RA in June 1941. RHQ was disbanded in April 1944 with 340 Battery joining 519 Coast Regiment RA (TA) and the remainder joining 520 Coast Regiment RA (TA).
