537 Coast Regiment RA was formed in the Faroes with four batteries, in December 1940. The Regiment disbanded in April 1944 in Norfolk with RHQ & 238 Battery at East Walton, 240 & 249 Batteries at Wells next the Sea and 265 & 426 Batteries at Clay next the Sea.
