533 (Orkney) Coast Regiment RA (TA)

533 (Orkney) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was formed from part of the Orkney Heavy Regiment RA (TA), in September 1940. It was responsible for the southern defences in Flotta Fire Command. The Regiment was placed in suspended animation in January 1946. 533 (Orkney) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was reconstituted as 430 (Orkney) Coast Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
