528 (Hampshire) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was formed from part of the Hampshire Heavy Regiment RA (TA), in September 1940. RHQ was disbanded, the batteries joining 527 Coast Regiment RA (TA) in December 1942. 528 (Hampshire) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was not re-formed.
