516 (Thames & Medway) Coast Regiment RA (TA)

516 (Thames & Medway) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was formed from a part of the Thames & Medway Heavy Regiment RA (TA), in July 1940. RHQ converted to 516 Garrison Regiment RA (TA) in December 1944 and as 614 Infantry Regiment RA (TA) in January 1945. RHQ 516 (Thames & Medway) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was placed in to suspended animation in July 1946 and was reconstituted as 415 (Thames & Medway) Coast Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
