507 (Fife) Coast Regiment RA (TA) was formed from a part of Fife Heavy Regiment RA(TA), in July 1940. RHQ was placed in suspended animation in May 1942, personnel going to 258 Battery. The Battery was then expanded to include a Fire Command HQ and joined 506 Coast Regiment RA (TA). RHQ 507 (Fife) Coast Regiment RA (TA) amalgamated with 504 Coast Regiment RA (TA) and was reconstituted in January 1947 as 362 Medium Regiment RA (TA).
