95 Anti-Tank Regiment RA was formed in October 1941 by conversion of 73 Medium Regiment. It was originally known as 73 Anti-Tank Regiment until it was realised there was already a 73 Anti-Tank Regiment in the UK. It was re-numbered as 95 Anti-Tank in February 1942. In April 1944, 95 Anti-Tank Regiment RA was converted to 73 Medium Regiment.
