89 Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA)

89 Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was converted from 2nd Battalion The Liverpool Scottish, Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders (TA) in November 1942 with three batteries. It became a holding unit in September 1945. The Regiment went into suspended animation in March 1946. 89 Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was reconstituted as 655 (Liverpool Scottish) Light Anti-Aircraft/Searchlight Regiment (TA) in January 1947.
