86 Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was converted from 5th Battalion The Devonshire Regiment in November 1941 with four batteries. The Regiment went into suspended animation in March 1946. 86 Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was reconstituted as 5th (Prince of Wales’s) Battalion The Devonshire Regiment (TA) in January 1947.
