54 (The Queen’s Own Royal Glasgow Yeomanry) Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was converted from 101 Field Regiment with four batteries in November 1938. The Regiment was put in suspended animation in March 1946. In January 1947, 54 (The Queen’s Own Royal Glasgow Yeomanry) Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was re-constituted as The Queen’s Own Royal Glasgow Yeomanry, Royal Armoured Corps (TA).
