53 (Worcestershire Yeomanry) Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was converted from 100 Army Field Regiment with four batteries in November 1938. It served with the BEF in France and then in the UK, training until conversion to the airborne role. 53 (Worcestershire Yeomanry) Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was converted in November 1943 to 53 (Worcestershire Yeomanry) Air Landing Light Regiment RA (TA).
