33 Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was converted from 33 Light Anti-Aircraft/Anti-Tank Regiment with three batteries in September 1944. The Regiment went into supended animation in December 1945 at Whittington, Oswestery. 33 Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was re-constituted as 533 Light Anti-Aircraft/Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
