149 (Lancashire Yeomanry) Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was converted from 149 Field Regiment in July 1941 with two batteries. Two more batteries were fromed in January 1942. The Regiment briefly became a Field Regiment for a few weeks in mid 1942 before reverting to the Anti-Tank role. It was placed in suspended animation in June 1946 in Greece. 149 (Lancashire Yeomanry) Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA) was reconstituted as 349 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
