14 Anti-Tank Regiment RA was formed in January 1939 by conversion of 14 Field Brigade RA with four batteries. It served with 4 Infantry Division throughout the war, from France to the UK, North Africa, Italy and Greece. In April 1947, 14 Anti-Tank Regiment RA was re-designated 54 Anti-Tank Regiment RA and the Batteries re-numbered.
