2 Anti-Aircraft Z Regiment RA

2 Anti-Aircraft Z Regiment RA was formed in September 1940 with three batteries under 2 Anti-Aircraft Division. It was soon moved to the East Coast serving in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. 2 Anti-Aircraft Z Regiment RA was disbanded in January 1945 and RHQ re-organised as 8 Area Anti-Aircraft Maintenance HQ in the April.
