1 Anti-Aircraft Z Regiment RA was formed in January 1941 at Clifton under 46 Anti-Aircraft Brigade, 8 Anti-Aircraft Division. However, it was soon moved to London where it stayed for the rest of the war. 1 Anti-Aircraft Z Regiment RA disbanded in April 1945.
