53 Anti-Aircraft Brigade was formed at Chester in August 1939. It was part of 4 Anti-Aircraft Division. It served in the North West of England until being re-designated in May 1943. 53 Anti-Aircraft Brigade became 106 Anti-Aircraft Brigade.
