107 Anti-Aircraft Brigade

107 Anti-Aircraft Brigade was formed at Wokingham, Berkshire in March 1943. When the Brigade moved to Normandy in August 1944, the Brigade supported 1 Canadian Army. In September they took part in the siege of Dunkirk, remaining there for the next 5 months. The Brigade moved into Holland in February 1945, still with the Canadians. They protected the communication centres around Cleve and Goch and the Mook bridges. Following the crossing of the Rhine they went with the Canadians up to the Frisian coast. At the end of the war in Europe, the Brigade stayed with the Canadians. During the post-war period they were employed on guard and administrative duties. 107 Anti-Aircraft Brigade was disbanded in April 1946.
