83 Searchlight Regiment RA (TA)

83 Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) was formed in January 1941 with three batteries, at Yeovil. The Regiment served in Anti-Aircraft Command until disbanded. It was based in the North West until joining the Diver defences against the V1 Rockets in the South East. 83 Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in December 1944 at Ipswich.
