70 (Sussex) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA)

70 (Sussex) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) formed in November 1938 with three batteries, at Brighton. The Regiment  spent its entire war in Anti-Aircraft Command in Southern England. 70 (Sussex) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) was disbanded in September 1944 at Blackmore. It was re-constituted as 605 (Sussex) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) in January 1947.
