69 (3rd City of London) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA)

69 (3rd City of London) Searchlight Regiment RA (TA) formed in August 1940 by the transfer of 10th (3rd City of London) Battalion The Royal Fusiliers (69 Searchlight Regiment) (TA) to the RA. It served in Anti-Aircraft Command for its entire war covering Southern and Eastern England. The Regiment was placed in suspended animation in April 1946 at RAF Attlebribge, Norwich. It was re-constituted as 604 (Mixed) and 625 (The Royal Fusiliers) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiments RA (TA) in January 1947.
